Women Supporting Women
“Women supporting each other, instead of competing with or judging each other brings unity and strength like no other.”- Julie Spira
There is so much hate in the world that we don’t need to bring it into our communities. One of the first classes I teach in my Mindful Mom-to-Be Group Coaching Program is that this is a judgment-free zone. We all come together during this program to support and elevate one another. This sets the tone for the rest of the program and my hope is that it continues on way after my program ends. I also invite these women to hold the mirror up to themselves when triggered by another person in this group. Something that my book “Mamaste” is all about; letting them reflect on the notion that when someone or something triggers you it’s a sign that something inside of you needs tending to and healing.
Over the years I have heard insane stories and rumors about myself, knowing that these people don’t really know me, but only speculate about who I am. I have also come to realize the people who are hardest on others are that much harder on themselves and that hurt people hurt people. We are all mirrors of each other and when you judge another you are in turn judging yourself.
One more thing I have learned in my wise old age is that there are always two sides to a story. So before making assumptions, passing judgment, or stating an opinion about something or someone make sure you have the whole story, the truth, and all the facts.
It takes just as much energy to be mean as it does to be kind. Kindness, love, and compassion are a higher vibration… judgment, gossip, and jealousy are a lower vibration… honestly I choose to play in the higher vibration energy as nothing and I mean nothing, makes me happier than supporting my sisters and seeing them thrive and shine bright! 💕
